Forestry
Would you like to to learn more about our solutions?
In the forestry sector, our geosynthetics, vinyl sheet piles, and small retention sluice gates are primarily used.
Geosynthetics
Geosynthetics are used in the sub-base of forest roads and fire access roads to reinforce ground bearing capacity, separate layers of different grain sizes, and facilitate water drainage. They extend the lifespan of the structures and reduce the risk of settlement and rutting.
Our projects:
Vinyl and hybrid sheet piles
Vinyl and hybrid sheet piles are used for constructing retention reservoirs in forested areas as well as water reservoirs for firefighting purposes. Impermeable sheet pile walls help maintain stable groundwater levels, protecting wetlands and peatlands from drying out. In mountainous regions, they can also be used to slow down water runoff within watercourses.
Our projects:
Small retention sluices
Small retention sluice gates help protect entire ecosystems from sudden changes in groundwater and surface water levels. As a result, ecologically valuable areas are safeguarded against both drought and flooding.
