Biodiversity
Would you like to to learn more about our solutions?
Our solutions have found applications in innovative projects aimed at protecting biodiversity. Vinyl sheet piles are used to create impermeable cutoff walls that prevent groundwater outflow from sensitive areas. Our solutions help regulate and maintain water levels within reservoirs and water flows preventing ecosystems from draughts and floods.
Vinyl sheet piles
Solutions based on geotechnical profiles are also employed in water retention projects, including those in urban areas.
Vinyl sheet piles are additionally used to build artificial nesting islands for waterfowl in areas characterized by fluctuating water levels. Thanks to their resistance to corrosion, saltwater, and UV radiation, they are also used in tropical regions for climate change adaptation projects.

Retention solutions
Small retention refers to the capacity to collect water in small reservoirs. It also includes water accumulation in river networks or drainage ditches, as well as increasing the soil’s water capacity through agricultural practices. The role of small retention is to change habitat moisture levels, raise the groundwater table, and alter the microclimate.
