Designer 3.0: an updated version of the online platform for the civil engineering sector - extended functionality and as many as three calculation modules.

The Pietrucha Group has released an updated version of its online calculation platform. Designer 3.0 comprises three calculation tools, product manuals, information materials and case studies dedicated to the products from the Group portfolio. Designer 3.0 is dedicated to civil engineering specialists to facilitate civil engineering calculations of cut-off and retaining walls parameters, required soil stabilization and flood prevention solutions.

Three intuitive calculation tools in one place.
Designer 3.0 consists of as many as three calculation tools that facilitate the selection of profiles and solutions used in civil engineering projects, e.g. road and rail construction and flood protection. Designer 3.0 is quick and intuitive. The accuracy of EcoWall is comparable to the most advanced geotechnical calculation applications using the MES method. The algorithms used in our programme are compliant with Eurokod 7, the European norm for geotechnical designs.

The EcoWall module is used to design cut-off and retaining walls, as well as select the optimal type and length of the hybrid or pvc sheet piling profile to meet the project requirements. The tool calculates the optimal length of the wall and, if applicable, the anchoring method. The report generated in .pdf file includes all necessary information required to file the design.

The OptiGrid module may be used to design efficient soil stabilization using the PolGrid biaxial geogirds with stiff, integrated nodes. After uploading the basic soil parameters and the project requirements, the program selects the optimal variant of the structure with the use of PolGrid geogrids or geocomposites, in order to achieve the most efficient stabilization and bearing capacity of the substrate, as well as to separate materials with different grain sizes and permeability.

The FloodWarden configurator helps calculate the proper height and load-bearing capacity of a mobile flood-protection barrier for efficient prevention against flood damage. The tool also enables the selection of accessories and additional equipment, as well as transport and assembly services. As a result, the user receives a complete product design that would meet the project requirements, as well as the quote.

A user-friendly solution granting access to comprehensive database
The database includes the full range of FloodWarden system elements, all types of geogrids and geocomposites, as well as the complete selection of the PVC and hybrid sheet piling profiles and their different variations. In addition, the user gets access to the technical database of the JLD anchoring systems, .dwg and SST files, as well as any technical documents certifying the quality of the Pietrucha solutions. The technical data is complemented with design guidelines and manuals, as well as case study publications describing projects using our solutions, developed by the Pietrucha experts, based on many years of experience and engineering practice.
